HOMELESS VETERAN GETS HOTEL STAY WHILE WAITING ON PERMANENT HOUSING

We have helped so many veterans with similar needs, but it never gets old or repetitive, every veteran has a unique situation and helping that veteran makes a huge impact on their daily living.  An agency Caseworker brought our attention to a homeless veteran that was inline to get housing through HUD-VASH, which is a fantastic program administered through the VA.

However, it doesn’t happen immediately, and this leaves the veteran with an interim period of “What do I do until then, where can I go?”  That’s where we stepped in for this veteran, we provided a hotel stay until his new home was ready for him.
