We’re incredibly proud to announce that we recently made a significant donation to a veteran through the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in our community. With great joy and gratitude, we donated a state-of-the-art electric wheelchair valued at $17,000.00 to a deserving veteran in need.

This donation is more than just a wheelchair; it’s a symbol of our unwavering commitment to supporting those who have bravely served our nation. By providing essential mobility assistance to a deserving veteran, we’re honored to play a small part in improving their quality of life and ensuring they have the freedom and independence they deserve.

In a poignant chapter of our journey, we encountered a courageous veteran bravely fighting cancer, unable to work and facing financial struggles. Filing for disability, this hero found themselves behind on rent and in need of fuel for crucial cancer treatment appointments. At Veterans’ Outreach, we recognize the tremendous sacrifices our veterans make, and we were honored to step in.

Pooling our community resources, we provided crucial assistance, not only alleviating the financial burden by covering rent but also ensuring reliable transportation for vital cancer treatment appointments. Together, we fueled hope for this brave warrior, demonstrating the unwavering support our community offers to those who have served.

In a recent encounter that touched our hearts deeply, a resilient veteran, facing the harsh reality of homelessness, sought refuge at our office, finding himself sleeping in his car. At Veterans’ Outreach, we believe that no hero who has served our country should ever have to endure such circumstances.

Determined to make a meaningful impact, we swiftly took action. We not only secured a hotel stay for a week, providing immediate relief and comfort but, fueled by our commitment to our veterans, we extended our support further. Collaborating passionately with the VA, we worked tirelessly to secure permanent housing, ensuring that this hero’s journey towards stability and a warm, welcoming home became a reality. Join us in celebrating the unwavering resilience of our veterans and standing together to ensure that no hero ever has to sleep in their car again.
