Restoring Power, Restoring Hope

This week, we were honored to assist a Veteran during a challenging time. On Wednesday, February 25, she reached out to Veterans Outreach seeking help with her family’s utilities.

Her husband, also a Veteran, had recently been hospitalized following a heart attack, and their power had been disconnected. The family was living in a camper while caring for their daughter’s three young children, all of whom have special needs.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and a $200 pledge to Alabama Power, we were able to restore their electricity by 2:00 PM that same day.

She shared her heartfelt gratitude, reminding us why our mission matters: providing timely support to Veterans and their families when they need it most.
