Growing Community & Giving Back
Farming is in their blood, and so is giving back to their community.
Michael and Ron Corll of Austintown recently shared the bounty of their hard work with local veterans by donating fresh, homegrown produce to Veterans’ Outreach.
When Velma, one of our dedicated volunteers, was contacted by Michael and Ron and asked if Veterans’ Outreach could use some of their fresh vegetables, she was happy to say yes! Their generous donation is now helping stock our Freedom Food Pantry, providing fresh and nutritious food to veterans and their families in our community.
There is truly nothing better than fresh vegetables, and our veterans are incredibly grateful to receive them. Donations like this go beyond putting food on a table; they show our veterans that their community remembers, appreciates, and supports them.
We are so thankful to Michael and Ron for sharing the fruits of their hard work with those who have served our country. Their generosity is a wonderful example of how neighbors helping neighbors can make a meaningful difference.
Thank you, Michael and Ron, for supporting our veterans and helping keep our Freedom Food Pantry stocked with fresh produce!
And, of course, nothing says it better than a happy veteran with an armful of fresh vegetables!
This is what community looks like. This is what service looks like.
