Boots, a Phone, and a Fresh Start

A young Army veteran was facing family struggles that left him homeless. He was staying at the Rescue Mission when Veterans Affairs referred him to Veterans’ Outreach. We stepped in to help by purchasing a pair of work boots, which are vital for his trade as an electrician, and covering his phone bill so he could stay connected with employers.
