A Chance Encounter at U-Haul
Sometimes, the most meaningful connections happen when we least expect them! Recently, our Executive Director was returning a U-Haul van after a busy day at the Summit County Stand Down, where Veterans’ Outreach provided essentials to over 350 veterans in need. While there, they met a local veteran who had just moved to the area.
She noticed the Veterans’ Outreach shirt and immediately struck up a conversation. As it turns out, our local office has recently helped her! From essential items to heartfelt support, Veterans’ Outreach had been there to assist her in starting her new chapter in our community.
Her joy and gratitude were palpable as she shared how much the help meant to her. At Veterans’ Outreach, we are committed to helping veterans across the nation by providing them with the assistance they need to live full, healthy lives—whether it’s food, housing, or everyday essentials. We are so proud to be a part of stories like hers and honored to serve those who have served us.
