Veterans’ Outreach is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Community Assistance Grant from the Redstone Arsenal Military & Civilians’ Club (RSAMCC) for the 2024–2025 club year.
Through this generous $1,500 grant, RSAMCC is supporting our Veterans Empowerment Initiative in Hartselle, Alabama — a program focused on helping veterans regain stability and independence through emergency assistance, employment support, and essential life resources.
We are incredibly grateful to RSAMCC for recognizing the importance of this mission and investing in the lives of the men and women who have served our country. This support allows us to extend our reach and deepen our impact in the Hartselle community.
We are honored to be included among such outstanding organizations making a difference in the lives of others.
To RSAMCC — thank you for standing with us and standing up for veterans.
A First Home, A Fresh Start
/in Spotlight of the Week /by Michaela GoodToday, we’re proud to share the story of Justin, a local veteran who recently purchased his first home—a milestone made even more meaningful through partnership and mutual support.
The windows in Justin’s new home were severely leaky, so he reached out to Lowe’s in Warren, who generously agreed to donate brand-new, energy-efficient windows. He needed a nonprofit sponsor to make the donation possible—and that’s where Veterans’ Outreach came in. We were honored to provide the support letter, and Justin worked directly with Lowe’s to coordinate everything.
Before even receiving the donation, Justin gave back—last week, he volunteered his time and skills to repair the siding on Building 15 at our location, showing true heart and community spirit.
Today, the windows were delivered to his home, and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of this story. Thank you to Lowe’s of Warren for your generosity, and to Justin for your service, initiative, and commitment to giving back.
