This past Tuesday, a dedicated group of students from Youngstown State University’s Chi Alpha, led by Joe Weser, volunteered their time and energy to support Veterans’ Outreach. Their hard work made a huge impact!
These amazing volunteers:
✅ Moved cubicle pieces to the dumpster
✅ Bagged Panera Bread donations
✅ Bagged potatoes for distribution
✅ Organized seasonal bins in the VO Depot sorting area
✅ Unloaded a van full of food pantry donations
✅ Made custom buttons
✅ And even had time to shop in the Depot!
We are incredibly grateful for their service and commitment to helping veterans in need. Thank you, YSU Chi Alpha, for stepping up and making a difference!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Marcy Fessler and the incredible community at Saint Michael Parish, Canfield, OH, for hosting a generous food drive throughout February to support our Veterans’ Outreach Freedom Food Pantry!
Their kindness and dedication filled our shelves with much-needed items, ensuring local veterans facing food insecurity have the support they deserve. Yesterday, we picked up the donations, and we are beyond grateful—most of the items on our shelves right now came from this amazing effort!
It’s because of compassionate people like Marcy and the parishioners of St. Michael’s that we can continue serving those who served us. Your generosity makes a real difference!
