A Helping Hand for Our Heroes

Recently, a disabled veteran in our community faced a challenging situation when his car was impounded, and the towing company demanded $2500 for its release. The financial burden was overwhelming for him.

At Veterans Outreach, we knew we had to help. Collaborating closely with the veteran’s sister, we negotiated with the towing company and managed to reduce the fee from $2500 to $500.

We contributed $200 towards the reduced fee, and the veteran’s sister was able to provide the remaining $300. Together, we successfully secured the release of his car.

This story highlights the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together to support our veterans. At Veterans Outreach, we are committed to standing by our heroes and helping them overcome challenges.

Independence Day Sale a Great Success!

Veterans’ Outreach is thrilled to announce that our Independence Day Clearance Sale was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible support from our community!

Over the course of three days—July 1st, 2nd, and 6th—shoppers flocked to the Veterans’ Outreach Depot, taking advantage of the 50% off sale on a wide variety of items. The event saw a wonderful turnout, with hundreds of visitors browsing and purchasing furniture, antiques, collectibles, clothing, kids’ toys, shoes, dresses, suits, decor, and much more.

Event Highlights:

Community Engagement: The event brought together supporters from all over Youngstown and beyond, showcasing the power of community spirit in supporting our veterans.

Amazing Deals: Shoppers were delighted with the incredible discounts, finding unique items at unbeatable prices.

Supporting Veterans: Every purchase made during the sale directly benefited Veterans’ Outreach, helping us continue our mission to assist veterans in need.

We are grateful for the support we received during our Independence Day Clearance Sale. The funds raised will significantly impact the services we provide to our veterans, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing community.

Supporting Our Veterans, One Step at a Time

At Veterans’ Outreach, we recently had the privilege of assisting a veteran who needed a little extra help to stay on his feet and continue working. This veteran required support with his phone bill, food, gas, and auto parts to keep his car running.

We stepped in to provide comprehensive assistance:

Phone Bill: We helped pay his phone bill to ensure he could stay connected.

Food and Gas Cards: We provided food and gas cards to ease his daily expenses.

Auto Parts: We covered the cost of auto parts so he could repair his car and commute to work.

These efforts not only helped him meet his immediate needs but also ensured he could continue to work and maintain his independence.

At Veterans’ Outreach, we are dedicated to supporting our veterans in every way possible. By addressing their urgent needs, we help them overcome obstacles and thrive in their daily lives.
